How to fix "Can't see FB friends on ILP"

Updated 31/2015 Removing apps from facebook apparently not always work, still need to uninstall and reinstall it. Use it only when at start of ILP, it didn't take the friend list, even after uninstall and reinstall and said you already authorised the apps.

Updated 29/1/2015 added troubleshooting for those who already have their fb friends as public but still can't see their fb friends. Found easier way without the need of unsinstall and reinstall ILP
Thank you Heidi S for trying all my suggestion :)

A lot of chefs are having problem not able to see their FB friends on ILP.  Thus they can get friends invite rewards.

This is happened because you set who can see your friend list in Facebook "Only Me" or for some reason you are not  authorising ILP at the beginning to access your friend list. 

Important!!!

• First of all make sure before you do these steps that you are login with facebook (in setting area said logout from facebook).  I don't take responsible for lost of account coz you're not login with facebook in the first place 
• Secondly, follow every step exactly like my tutorial. If you do the order wrong it won't work. 

For friend list "Only Me"

1. In your computer go to your friends tab (in facebook of course), on top right hand side of your friend list, there is picture of pencil
2. Click To manage, select edit privacy
3.  Set who can see your friend list to public (friend only might work, haven't tried)
4.  In your gadget Logout from your Facebook, re-login. (This is to make sure the setting had been applied in your gadget.
5. Uninstall ILP, reinstall it. Let it run.(Have to uninstall and reinstall, coz this is the time ILP access your friends list. Login and logout doesnt do this)

For those who never logout facebook, don't panic when it asks you to create new character.

•          Just click OK, and give random name (just ok it).
•          It would go to cut scene and there will be Login to FB option. Click OK.
•          It would say that FB has been registered, you will lost this progress if you proceed bla bla bla, just click OK. The game will restart and you will get your restaurant back.

       7. Now check the invite friends tabs.

      8. Ta daaaa your FB friends are now there :))

This is a must for those who   already  set the friend list public at the first place but still can't see FB friends.  

•            Just Facebook Logout from ILP.
•            In your facebook in your android, go to tab with 3 line on the top left hand side.                  (refer to pic)
•            Go to account setting>> apps>>login with facebook>>find ilp
•            Tap on ILP, on the next page scroll to bottom till you find remove apps. Click on it.
•            Don't worry, tested already, you won't lost your account. Your account and                        progress are  saved on ILP's server not in Facebook, providing you do login with                FB in the first place.

Tap on ILP, on the next page scroll down till you find remove apps

           Open ILP, it will ask you permission again, don't just ok it. Tap on edit the info you provide.
           This time make sure you tick the friend list there.

   if you still cant see friend list like on the right hand side pic, uninstall and reinstall ILP,

Ordering Ingredient at the market is 1 cookies per 10 minutes. So choose the minutes that ending with 0 like 10, 20, 30 and so on.

More stove, more pasta makers, and more friends do have more advantages in this events. So better to level up fast :)

Ok, confirmed that selling dishes definitely give you cookies. It is 1 cookies per 10 pasta consumed to make the dishes. So choose dishes with that consume pasta with ending 10 to mmaximize your cookies. (195  will only give you 19) 
Those dishes are Penne al matriciana, Spagetti carbonara, Pasta bolognese Spaggetti al Vongole, Mentaiko, Farfalle with musroom oil sauce, Cream Sauce Steak pasta, Ravioli Genovese, Cheese Tomato Sauce Ravioli.
Untick the 3rd side dishes for faster selling too, though it uses more pasta. (It also faster to sell those one that you already mastered as you got the 4rd side dishes to reduce the time even more)
Don't forget to utilise party to fast sell out your dishes and making pasta.

Social activities include helping friends at their restaurant and  getting help as well. So more friend more points you got to collect (depending on your level) Being high level also means you can visit more friends and get more helps, therefore more cookies you gonna collect. But this social activities only give you 1 cookies per help.

Street fair also give you cookies, so street fair every 3 hours, and use puzzle if you want but they only gives 2 cookies (1 when fail) .

Sending puzzles is the easiest to get cookies, but again, higher level means you can send more puzzles.

The more party the more cookies. Remember inviting facebook friend gives 5 party point, increase store grade and level up makes your party point full. So utilise them to to have more party.

How to get FREE Google play or I tunes Credit to get ILP cash and other things really :)

Updated 21/1/2015 USA Store currently there are some big points. I use fly vpn for deskstop and used bluestack, but they have info for android and IOS too. It's only 20 mins though, but should be enough as mostly only ask for 30 sec trial.

As promised here it is

There are some apps that allow you collect point to be redeemed for google play credit or itunes credit even playpal.

Here is one that is already tested by some people which -Free my apps-
I'll come back for more after I tested them. So stay tuned.

How to use it:

1. Open this link in your mobile phone, tablets or bluestack browser https://m.freemyapps.com/share/url/67ddd371 or https://m.freemyapps.com/share/facebook/67ddd371
2. Use facebook account for registration
3. Download apps on the sponsor list.  For every apps there you'll get points
4. After download, open or run it as requested (tested 1, ask to use 30 second). You may uninstall afterward if you don't like them. ( may take 30 mins to get the points
5. After reaching certain point, you could reddeem the points for specific store that you want (google play, I tunes, paypal). You will get unique code to be input to your phone ( i assume like itunes card or google play card)
6. Share your unique code to get extra point when your friend download the apps
7. 3000 point for $10 itunes 7500 for $25 google play and many many more.

Tips :

1. use vpn (virtual private network to get regional shop that is not in your country to get more apps and more points.
2. For IOS user you have to use USA id to redeem point ie use vpn i think
3. Tweet, Fb, email, sms, instagram, pininterest for more point (200 each will appear in 24 hours)
4. Can use bluestack too for those who dont have much room in their phone storage like me, but still need your google id for playstore. Don't forget to use my url so i get point hahahhaa :)

How to save your batteries

Ok basically I had succesfully killed my phone battery, not just by playing games but for other thing too. It has been 2 years since I had my phone, so it wasn't so bad. Still feeling guilty for not keeping good care of it though. It has attempted to suicide on me so many times to before going into coma, and now I put it into rest. :P


So here is my tips how to take care of it more :

1. Never drain your battery till empty
2. Lower the brightness 
3. Use battery saver app or power saver management
4. Don't keep playing when it's hot
5. Turn off the volume or background sound
6. Not recommended to play long with charger connected
7. Play your game in the computer when you at home 

There are some emulator in the market to play mobile games such as ILP, One is Bluestack (thanks to QY Heng my lifesaver) and the other which is fellow gamers recomended is Andy (Thanks to Cece Geraldo).  

According to Cece Andy has a better UI than Bluestacks as you can see from the picture and it is not as laggy like Bluestacks too. Also, you don't need to pay or even have to install other app just to keep using it. I'm not going to list what are the difference between the two apps as you can check it out at their website here: http://www.andyroid.net/

The installation is a  different from Bluestacks. While installing, there will be 3 notification asking you to install. Just install it and you have to reboot your PC/Laptop. Then run the app and you have to set it like you just bought a brand new phone or tablet. After that, you have to install ILP and facebook for you to sync your game.

I my self use bluestack, and its not laggy for me, but of course i dont have touch screen monitor, so gotta use mouse. I guess it depend on your comp spec. Mine is not top of the notch either, but it worked fine for me. It will ask you to download some apps time to time to keep using it for free, but i click install nothing happened. 

You can use the same google account with your phone and tablet too. 

I use my phone while i'm outside, and taking orders from patron and vip, other than that I use bluestack to play in computer. There no need to log in and log out from ILP. Just don't open them at the same time, or both will be disconnected from the server.

When login first time to bluestack, you'll be prompted to create new character. Most chef think they lost their resto or it doesnt work. In fact as long as you login with facebook, your account is preserved. Just click ok to create new character, put name or just ok it. Then on the next cut scene you will find facebook login button on top right. (make sure you login to the same facebook  account that you played ILP with, on your bluestack too)
